WELCOME TO THE GAMING DEPARTMENT OF Anime Weekend Atlanta MMX! Aside from all the anime shows you will watch, all the new manga you will get to read, all the voice actors and actresses to meet, all the pocky that you and your friends will inhale, and all the freaky costumers that you might stare at, We, the humble otakus of the Gaming Department hope to add to your convention experience with entertaining diversions with the likes of table-top board games, card games, CCG Tournaments [you heard right….TOURNAMENTS!] and various Role-Playing Games [RPGs]. Just as anime and manga cover a wide spectrum of genres, so will our games, and we hope that you will [WITH your badge] drop in and stay with us for a while to play and enjoy the variety of games that we have to offer.
SPECIAL NOTE: While the Galactic Quest CCG Arena will still be in the Galleria Room, then main RPG Gaming room will now be located in the Hallmark room, right in front of the 2nd floor elevators.

be seperate entry fees for their events. Thanks.*
Gamers should be prepared to play all their favorites! We encourage diversity. Our directors are prepared to support the following games...
Yugioh!, Magic, Naruto, Battle Spirits,
Poke'mon, World of Warcraft, Duel Masters, Star Wars, Marvel Ultimate
Battles, and many others.
Friday (Sept 17th)
Official Tournaments from Noon - 10pm
Yu-gioh! - all day turbo pack tournaments ($5 entry) Swiss format.
These tournaments will rotate through the day with extra packs and play
mats as prizes.
Magic the Gathering demonstrations
- free starter decks will be available for a limited time for new players.
Magic the Gathering - current block sanctioned sealed tournaments.
($15 for 3 packs = 40 card deck, 12 packs toward prizes). When 8 players
sign up, we begin. This will be offered all day.
FNM - $5 entry for Type II tournament. Foil card prizes. Begins
at 7pm.
Naruto - open play
Battle Spirits - Demos & tournament. Tournament begins at 5pm
Saturday (Sept 18th) -

Magic Giant Pack Wars - winner
takes all! ($4 entry). Everyone buys one pack, adds 3 of each color
mana, plays. If you win, you get to add your opponent's pack to yours
and advance to next round.
Sunday (Sept 19th) - Noon - 6pm
Yugioh! Win a Box Championship Tournaments - 2pm Qualified players
only. You must have won a prior tournament to play in this event.
Open play and pick up tournaments. Based on feedback from Friday
& Saturday, we will post additional events for the day. Tell us
what you enjoyed and we'll put it on the schedule. Yugioh and Magic
will be guaranteed.
