Iron Editor at AWA
A tradition at AWA, the Video Art Track's Iron Editor Challenge pits the wits and skill of two invited Video editors against one another. Two competitors, a newcomer and the previous year's champion, are given access to two identical top-quality editing computers (on loan from sponsors), a database of music, and a selection of video footage to employ (as well as requiring the use of a "secret ingredient" not revealed until the start of the contest). The two then try to produce a superior video within the two hour time limit, similar in style to the famous "Iron Chef" television program. Final judgement comes from our celebrity panel of fans and the roar of the crowd. Come watch our competitors sweat it out under the bright lights and the watchful eye of our announcers and technicians as the hundreds of audience members cheer them on.
